Introduction

CHIPDRIVE® Smartcard Office 2.5 protects your privacy and your sensitive data automatically and easily. Both for individual workstations as well as on networks – it requires no specialized knowledge to use.

The advantages of the smart card are twofold: For one thing, it is considered the most secure medium overall, and on the other hand, it is simply practical in daily use. "Unlocking" data is now just as easy as opening your door: insert the key, open the door! With the smart card, you always have all of the keys you need.

We call it "Complete Single Sign-on" – your authentication on your computer, applications, Internet, services, data and more is fully automatic wherever you are.

CHIPDRIVE® Smartcard Office 2.5 includes smart cards, software applications and smart card readers. All components are also offered separately. Whether purchasing separate components or the complete package, upgrades are available to suit your individual needs.

Install the software
Connect the card reader
Follow the Wizard – done!

Insert the smart card - you are automatically logged on to Microsoft® Windows®, and your data is decrypted. Every password request is answered automatically.

Remove the card – and your identity and your data are immediately so well protected that even security experts with the best passwords could hardly do better.

And you save yourself the daily work and bother of filling in forms – now a thing of the past.

Program Modules

CHIPDRIVE® Smartcard Office combines a whole string of popular applications in one Masterkey package:

CHIPDRIVE® WinLogon offers secure sign-in and sign-off to Microsoft® Windows®.

CHIPDRIVE® Password Manager automatically stores all your passwords securely on the smart card. Password dialogs are easily and automatically replied to without drag&drop operations.

CHIPDRIVE® Disk Encryption creates data containers that can only be decrypted with your smart card. The containers are accessible as drives throughout the system.

CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording Light is able to seize your working hours and can evaluate them according to your projects.

CHIPDRIVE® Smartcard Manager is the control center with Plug & Play and card backups.

CHIPDRIVE® Smartcard Tools provide the interface to your existing smart cards (SIM Manager Pro, cash/HBCI card and health insurance card Viewer, Smartcard Editor).
